The Department of Oral Pathology and its sister concern Oral Biology organized a national seminar on topic “Advent of Sequencing Era…& Clinical Applications of NGS Technology” on April 27th 2023. The speaker is Dr.Lakshmi Soundararajan, Consultant Molecular Microbiologist Genes2Me and Find India. The enormous experience of the speaker in the next generation technology was sectioned to meaningful slides of presentation. The speaker had taken through the various methodologies of sequencing along with potential advantages and disadvantages in a systematic manner.The lecture was very interactive and simplified, and even the beginners were able to comprehend the science. The webinar was moderated by Dr. S.Sandhya, senior lecturer, department of Oral biology, Saveetha dental college and hospitals.
