The Department of Oral Pathology and its sister concern Oral Biology organized a International virtual webinar on “Psychological aspects in oncology” on June 9th, 2022. The speaker is Dr. Nithya K, former assistant professor, adhiparasakthi dental college, melmaruvathur. The speak had shared her valuable experience in handling of cancer patients. A not much explored area of pscychosocial analyisi of these patients were presented. The presentation motivated the participants to think of tailored therapeutics and management protocols that caters to the wholesome health of the oncology patients. The session was moderated by Dr. Ramya R, professor and head, Dept, of oral biology.
