Webinar on Sharp tooth & Oral cancer – A savage pair

The Department of Oral Pathology and its sister concern Oral Biology organized a national virtual webinar on “Sharp tooth & Oral cancer – A savage pair” on February 10th, 2022. The speaker is Dr. T. R. Yoithap Prabhunath from Vivekananda Dental College. The speaker explains about the inflammation caused by chronic mechanical irritation by the sharp cusps and its molecular mechanism in initiation of oral cancer. The pathogenesis of the tumorigenesis is well explained by the speaker. The students and faculties from various colleges around the state attended the webinar. The participants were highly satisfied with the content provided to them and we received excellent feedback from the participants.
