Webinar on Artificial Intelligence in Dentistry

The Department of Oral Pathology and its sister concern Oral Biology organized a national virtual webinar on “Artificial Intelligence in Dentistry” on April 13th , 2022. The speaker is Dr.K.Gokulapriyan, MDS, Assistant Professor , Department of Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics, CSI College of Dental Science and Research, Madurai.

The presentation was very much informative and dealt with basics of artificial intelligence. Various applications of artificial intelligence and how it impacts our life was also explained in detail. Moreover application of artificial intelligence in healthcare was discussed in depth like artificial assisted robotic surgery, medical diagnosis, drug discovery, medical data security, medical risk prediction and clinical trials.  The students and faculties from various colleges around the state attended the webinar. The participants were highly satisfied with the content provided to them and we received excellent feedback from the participants.
