The Department of Oral Pathology and Oral Biology, Saveetha dental college and hospitals had organized a guest lecture on “Forensic relevance of Dental Anatomy” on 25thJanuary 2024. Dr. T. Maheshwaran, Professor – Department of Oral Pathology,Vivekanandha Dental College for Women was the speaker. The primary objective of the webinar on "The Forensic Relevance of Dental Anatomy" was to illuminate the critical intersection of dentistry and forensic science, emphasizing the pivotal role dental anatomy plays in forensic investigations. Furthermore, the webinar sought to highlight emerging technologies that enhance the precision and efficiency of forensic analyses in the realm of dental anatomy. Through these objectives, the webinar aimed to deepen participants' knowledge, foster appreciation for the forensic significance of dental anatomy, and promote interdisciplinary collaboration between dentistry and forensic science.
