The Department of Oral Pathology and its sister concern Oral Biology had organized a guest lecture on “Euphoria in Management of Pediatric Patients” on 30th Nov, 2023. Dr. Debarchhana Jena, Founder & Chief Pediatric Dentist, Childhood Smiles, An Exclusive Center for Pediatric Dentistry and Orthodontics, Bangalore. Dr. Nitya K, Research Scientist in the Department of Oral Biology at Saveetha Dental College and Hospitals, moderated the session. The session was very much useful and the speaker gave an exemplary presentation regarding the applications of laughing gas (nitrous oxide) in managing pediatric patients. The goal and various methods to manage euphoria was clearly explained in case based discussion.
