Guest lecture on “Artificial Intelligence in Dentistry
The Department of Oral Pathology and its sister concern Oral Biology had organized a guest lecture on “Artificial Intelligence in Dentistry” on Aug 05th, 2023. The event was conducted at the decennial hall in Saveetha dental college and hospitals. Dr. Pratibha Prasad, Assistant Professor from Department of Basic Medical & Dental Sciences College of Dentistry (Ajman University, UAE), had delivered the discourse. The enormous, revolutionizing potential of the artificial intelligence, was well elaborated by the speaker. Limitless possibility of this next generation technology to automate the different work-lines of dentistry– from designing personalized treatment plan to predicted the treatment outcome were comprehensively presented. The participants expressed a high level of satisfaction with the informative talk. The session was headed and supported by Dr Pratibha Ramani, head of the department, Department of Oral pathology, Saveetha Dental College and Hospitals.
