Workshop on “Awareness & Importance of Millet Based Foods”
The Department of Oral Pathology and its sister concern Oral Biology organized an offline lecture and workshop on “Awareness & Importance of Millet Based Foods” on July 25th, 2023. The speaker is Dr. Chef. Damodharan. K. Indian Celebrity Chef. The session was interactive and moderated by Dr Ramya, Professor and Head, Department of oral biology. Saveetha Dental College and Hospital.
The event was also followed by inauguration of cooking Club at the institution. The objective of the club is to create awareness among young students and faculty about the importance of cooking healthy foods. Considering the enormous rise in chronic metabolic diseases in our country, this initiative will make a big difference in creating health awareness among students, faculty and patients whom are being treated in our hospital.
