Workshop on “Startup Opportunities for Beginners- Pitchfest”

Department of Oral Pathology & Oral Biology, Saveetha Dental College,

conducted a program on ' Startup Opportunities for Beginners- Pitchfest’

for internal and external faculty and students ' on 24th January, 9am at

SSM Hall, SaveethaDental college (SIMATS city campus), Chennai.

Chief Guest, Mr.Sivarajah Ramanathan, Mission Director & CEO,

Tamilnadu Startup and Innovation Mission , Government of Tamilnadu

was the guest of Honor and he delivered a lecture on ‘' Startup

Opportunities for Beginners’. Mr.Ritesh Hebbar, Managing Partner,

Hebbar Medical equipments, Chennai gave a lecture on process

involved from ideation to commercialization. Pitch fest was conducted

and participants were assessed for parameters related to novelty,

technology readiness level and commercialization potential. The session

was judged by Dr.Sagar Moses and Mr. Ritesh Hebbar. The program

was attended by 170 participants.
