Webinar on ‘Basics in Haematological Diagnosis’

The Department of Oral Pathology and its sister concern Oral Biology organized a national virtual webinar on “Basics in Hematological diagnosis” on April 28th, 2022. The speaker is Dr. Ashwini Balkuntla Krishnamurthy, Associate Professor, Department of Oral Pathology, AECS Maruthi College of Dental Sciences and Research Centre, Bangalore.

The presentation was very much informative and dealt with basics in hematological diagnosis. Physical properties, Composition and functions of blood, plasma and serum, blood groups and blood transfusions, cross matching and hazards of blood transfusion are also explained in detail. The students and faculties from various colleges around the state attended the webinar. The participants were highly satisfied with the content provided to them and we received excellent feedback from the participants.
